Adek dan Hoki(Hari 1)

Almost 2 weeks,I became  a new nikonian,well not to say the regular digital camera..it is DSLR!!..lol..berlagaknyer..still get lots to study for..the lightning setting,white balance,,and bundles of  photography terms i should adapt to.Such out of blue,own one..as I'm not planning buying it now.just yet..but everything was like planned well.alang2 tengah cuti dan,memang nak pergi ke Selangor,so whatta u waiting for!=)

My youngest sister been selected  playing hockey for Hockey State Tournament representing Kinta Utara district .it was held during this school holiday at Stadium Hoki Sultan Azlan Shah,which is just 10minutes away from my home.So apalagi kan..Dan macam orang mengantuk disorongkan bantal(correct me if i'm using it wrongly)everything was  at the right time(just after I bought the camera),the right place(very near I should go) and right people!!(yeah..adek aku yang main!!)

She started playing hockey,since she was 10..I cant even believe myself..dia ni kalo tengok ,mcm lembik2 je..haha..the very first time told by mom she's being active in hockey...cant stop gasped my mouth and yeah,,laughed a bit..hehe.kecik2 cili padi agaknye.and the moment i knew her position in the team...i was like...''whoAaa''...''ha!!''..''can she really do that??''

So,it was almost 3 years,knowing my adek's talent on hockey through my mom...''bagus die main''..''cikgu pon puji dia''..n blablabla..i was amazed and  proud of my sister as I should;p, but still some doubts remains..memang x boley percaya si budak ini main bagus sangat..even playing the hockey itself;p~~

Alhamdulillah,cuti ni memang tepat sangat-sangat lah dapat peluang tengok adek main depan mata sendiri.worth of 3years waiting .yang paling best sebab dapat outdoor shooting.sport pulak tu.memang sangat mencabar.

The game was held for 4 days from last Saturday which ended yesterday(Tuesday)

..but WAIT it only happened so if the team(each represented district,well,told that thaught u might dunno)won for each round,so they will move onward ,kalo x,sila kemas barang2 dan pulang ke daerah masing2..hee..no offense.Now,lets see,

What happened to Kinta Utara team??

Did they survive till the end of the day??

And hows my adek,did she performed well seperti yang diwar-warkan??

All the players have been allocated in a Raja Perempuan School hostel for the time being.Maka,team yang kat Kinta Utara ni memang kena pergi sendiri la,sebb dah buat kat daerah sendiri .Saya pon ikot la abah hantar adek ni pergi sekolah tu.Ouh..dslr mesti juga ikut!Tengok budak2 daerah lain tinggi2 je..banding dgn KU(Kinta Utara).Xpela..ketinggian bukan ukuran untuk menang yang penting kemahiran!

The first game started at 2pm..yeah..just imagine,the day was very bright and hot.kesian budak2 kena main tengah2 panas and me either as a photographer.;p

Outdoor photoshooting was very challenging and ...tiresome.Alternating sunny and cloudy day really test me.Dunno which setting(dunno the exact term) should i used,keeping me changing the ISO depends on the weather and shooting the moving players too was another challenge .Its hard,yet fun,as I get to used to my dslr better and made me to know him more.;p

ok,back to the game.it was between KU beating Perak Tengah.

i bet being goalkeeper is the tough one
err..gambar  ni nampak mcm kumpulan KU nak goal kt tempat sendiri lak.

rasanya susah jadi goalkeeper ni,sebb waktu  pihak lawan datang serang,tinggal la sorang2 nk selamatkan bola tu dari masuk gol.ye, 'defender' memang akan tolong nk tepis bola tu..the worse, bola tu 'OUT',tapi bayangkan kalau goalkeeper tu tepis2 jugak..nk halang bola masuk,last2 masuk jugak..GOLLLLL!!ha! menyesal x sudah nnti.

opPs..tapi ini x berlaku dalam perlawanan ni.

okok,pasal perlawanan tadi.yeah,,adek berjaya menepis 3 bola dari masuk gol!!tengok depan mata sendiri,rasa mcm x percaya pon ada,itu adek saya!:Ddan ini juga berjaya menyelamatkan 2 mata yg diperolehi oleh KU.

Alhamdulillah,menang untuk 1st game..ada lagi 2 team sebelum KU layak untuk peringkat seterusnya.

Maka mampukah KU bertahan untuk hari seterusnya??

The mysterious Broga

BROGA.

What come across once u heard this word...

An international football player??(my friend thaught so)

A  new word...so u try on Google translate to know the meaning??(one did so)

Well,it is a place.a hill.located in small town of Semenyih,Selangor.for those who loves hiking and want it to be a family trip,Broga Hills definitely the place.it is only 1.7km distance to reach the top  so it takes  3.4km to and fro.Not a big number right.in fact there was  a kid 4-years-old i might, together with his brother and father,cracking the track up while I was going down the hill.both the boys looked even more cheerful and energetic in spite of distance which they would be breathless,well, i suppose.

kalau kuat lagi bolehla sampai Gunung Tok Wan;p
next destination.insyaAllah.

How to reach there?

I went there last weekend together along 2 cars with 5 persons per car .’mcm rombongan la pulak’

Most of all because i love hiking,i enjoy doing something adventurous.i bet this might not sound so for others,but for me it is.so when being asked to go for broga..how can i dismiss it. Grab the chance!.but of course only after my parents’ permission.

Since we(1^st car) went there from KL,so we took MRR2 and escaped it through Kajang susur keluar.and continue driving toward Semenyih.one u reached the town,u’ll find a mosque,Masjid Jalan Raja Muda Musa at ur right side.we took off our Subh prayer  and met the other party(the 2^nd car)there.ok.back on the road,there is Petronas station just in line with the mosque.not far way,there is a traffic light,take the left junction.jalan ni sunyi sikit.dont panic.About 200-300m driving,there is University Nottingham at the left side.university ni memg selalu jadi landmark kalo org nk pegi Broga.dah x jauh dah tu.continue driving till  u see  a rabbit farm at the driver’s side.palm oil plantation is just in front of it, is where the broga’s hiking begin.since we came on weekend,there were hundreds cars parking along the road and even at the plantation itself.Well,people make business once the place become public’s attraction.So you need to pay rm2 if u’re parking inside(the plantation) and for free if u parked outside(along the road).and YES we love FREE thingy ,let us chose the latter plus we even dont know where shall we started as we were all first timer there,so following behind others was just the best for us!=)

Back to Broga,it is named after a mythical beast.thats all i know.might been something villagers been told from  their ancestors before(oh..bukan utk percaya benda karut marut ).Broga ,the named itself is unique!!back before it is also called Bukit Lalang.once u reached the top,the the long thin grass grows wildly adding the extra point of the self-beautiful –greenery view.cant deny.tapi kalau yang ada kat sebelah rumah tu rasa semak ,rasa nk mesin je kan..and yes,it is not applied on this case.
